Quick & Simples.....

Good morning my lovelies how are you all? I cant believe its end of half term, how fast has this week gone :0( Got wait til christmas for another school hol now :0(
Anyway sorry I've not been round we had a full on family day yesterday as my eldest works half day on a friday so we treated everyone to pizza hut including Jake's girlfriend, we laughed sooooooo hard it made my pains worse but god was it worth it..........laughter is the medicine for EVERYTHING!!!
Anyway I made some quickie cards (altho not quick for me lol), nearly a week ago & thought I would pop them on, not sure what I think of them tbh but.........well will let you see lol.
This is going along the lines of flat crimbo cards & for this card I got inspired by my fabby talented blogging buddy Debby when she made these cards here........she does gorgeous simple cards & hers are soooooooooooo much better than mine!!!

For the baubles I used the fabby MB 'Snowflake Ornament' die & I drew lines up to the embossed lettering. The embossing folder is from my stash.
Paper is MME 'All Is Bright' & I ripped it & inked it with Walnut DI.

I have used a Penny Black stamp for this one & heat embossed it with copper embossing powder. I then inked the background using distress ink. The sentiment stamp didnt stamp out too well.
I used Spellbinders 'Edgeabilities - Classic Scallop' for the bottom edge, I wanted it to look like a shadow was being cast by the top scallops. The reason for this card is the Joanna Sheen challenge this time is 'Silhouettes', I'm hoping this counts.
The paper is Prima 'Tea Thyme' & I've added faux stitching around the edge. Not sure tbh what I think of this one but its a first for me, its good to try new things tho, thats the whole point of crafting aint it lol ;0)

Ingredients used...........
MME 'All is bright' paper - MCH

Cream Pearl Pen - MCH

Flowers are a mixture from WOC. I've also added Magnolia's 'Scroll & Leaf' doo-hickey. The heart is punched out using my MS punch.

Inspire Beauty In All That Surrounds You

Good morning lovelies how are you all? The lovely Tracy from Make It Crafty DT asked me if I would like to be a guest on their Inspiration Blog..........of course it took me all of 2 nano seconds to say a big fat YES!!!!!!! Now the fabulous talented Zoe has sooooooooo many fab images in her store, it really did take me FOREVER to pick my images, I already have quite a few, but this was hard!!!
Anyway I decided it had to be a girl, with long flowing hair & lots of pleats or folds in her clothing :0)
So I went with 2 images & merged them together............
............these are 'Girl With Glass Slipper' & 'Courtyard' digi's. I've kept the card pretty simple so the image is the focal point..............well simple for me.......I'm missing my foofiness tho ;0)

The chipboard frame is also from Make It Crafty & I painted it with white gesso.

I was colouring my piccy & my beautiful cat decided to jump up on my shoulders making me jump thus creating this mess!!!! Was not happy & in a huff put it on the table then starting thinking about printing another one out or choosing diff image................ However..........

............I then decided I would try to fix it as time was against me. It worked :0) So dont always throw those images away that you have made mistakes on.........some can be saved ;0)

The image of course was coloured with Copics..........
E13, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R20
E29, E27, E23, E21
R85, R83, R81, RV10
C5, C3, C1, C00
E59, E57, E55, G05, YG06
G99, YG65, G21
I've just realised I've forgot to do the sky..............ooopps :0(

Ingredients used..............
Digi images merged - Make It Crafty
Chipboard Frame - Make It Crafty
Prima 'Tea Thyme' papers - My Crafty Heart
Pearls - My Crafty Heart
Sentiment - Whimsy

So there is my wee creation for Make It Crafty, thank you soooooooooo much to Tracy & Zoe for having me as their guest I really am truly honoured sweeties, mmwah xxxxx
Oh before I go tho pop on over to Make It Crafty as Zoe has a sale on, yes thats right A SALE!!!
Don't miss it peeps.
Take care lovelies, cheerio xxxxxxxxx

Thank you all sooooooooo much for your lovely comments I am EXTREMELY lucky to have my cupboard..........altho I do miss my truck & a teeny bit of that money paid for this cupboard. I am really surprised about the amount of storage it can hold I really am. Here is the link to this cupboard for those wanting to know. Now its the older version of The Workbox but its also cheaper than the newer ones. The newer ones have plastic boxes instead of canvas drawers, however I prefer the canvas drawers. If at any time you wanted to change the drawers around or even take them out & use the shelves then these drawers unzip underneath & fold flat, so would take up no room if you wanted to store them when they were not in use.
I would say the only downside to this cupboard is I have to be a tidier crafter lol......mmmmm I'm saying nothing lol.....
